So, the big deal at the start of Silk & Honey was the idea that Silk would use her succubus wiles on everyone around her and make them fall in love with her.

There does indeed seem to be some falling in love going on, but not quite in the direction that was suggested! With that said, this isn’t gonna turn into a romance comic. In fact, violence and weirdness are just around the corner! This is the start of one of the final two scenes of our story, and I’m excited to wrap things up. Why? I’m glad you asked!

Because I’m also working on Locus: Godslayer! That’s right. Scripts are being written, pages are being drawn. Looks like LG will be 12 issues in length. Not quite as long as the previous Locus comic, but that’s because my writing’s tightened up since then–in no small part thanks to Silk & Honey.

I will also be starting work on the as-yet-untitled comic of how Spook met Moondoggie. These comics will be running concurrently. These things will be happening this year! So let me know how you’d like to be alerted when these things happen. I have a Facebook Page, a Google+ Community, and even a neglected Twitter account. Sign up for one or all three! Whatever works best for you. I’ll be posting here, too, of course.

Between now and then, I’m running a fun little special:

If you order any original artwork at all (whether Locus, Silk & Honey, or even your own commission idea), I will throw in a free one-of-a-kind sketch card for you. Here’s how it works:

You pick your favorite Locus character and a question you’d like to ask about them. I will draw this character on the card for you (full-color with brush & ink and watercolor pencils) and answer your question on the back.

Hell, you don’t even have to buy original artwork. You can just buy a card if you like. They’re an industry-standard $20 each, with free shipping worldwide. Click here for the first two I’ve done already! That’s right. The front cover and inside front cover to LG have already sold, and these are the cards that went with them. I hope you like them!

(my scanner doesn’t like watercolors for some reason…the originals are much more vibrant than what you see above)

And there you go! Lots of Locus news! And lots more coming. I’m ramped up and ready to go. I hope you join me!
